This site is a chance for me to experiment with some new web techniques. Using hand coded PHP to generate XHTML/CSS, the site uses the lightweight moo.fx JavaScript framework to provide animated effects and AJAX functionality.
The JavaScript not only improves the aesthetic of the site, but also increases usability by reducing page reloads and highlighting newly loaded content. Accessibility is maintained as the site degrades gracefully on older browsers and is even perfectly usable on a handheld device.
